Manta rays can grow up to 7 meters across and weigh up to 2 tonnes, but despite their size, they're gentle and playful. Watching them glide through the water, sometimes doing barrel rolls or swimming through bubbles, is a mesmerizing sight. They feed on tiny zooplankton, using two lobes at the front of their heads to funnel in their meal.
You'll have the chance to see these amazing creatures at "cleaning stations" where they hang out with cleaner fish, getting a little TLC while you snorkel or dive nearby. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting, this experience will be a highlight of your trip!
