Fast-moving pelagic sharks that may appear around baitfish and tuna schools in open water.
Strong currents bring in schools of tuna, giant trevallies and barracuda, often hunting around the reef edges.
When you are not focused on sharks, there are still turtles, reef fish and macro life along the walls and shallower sections.

Occasionally, whales are spotted at the surface around Fuvahmulah, especially on full-day ocean safaris.
